Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actress who is best famous for her performances in TV series The Shield and True Blood. She has proven her versatility since 2003 by delivering impressive performances in TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 1-8-7 as well as Under the Dome. Anna's role on Assault on Precinct 13 was her first major break. Her first recognition came from her performance in the biographical movie All the Way. Hind was also recognized for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's period drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series to a third season. Hind just wrapped shooting on the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters and will be released in the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj died in March 2017 after a long career as a scientist in India's Army. Vrinda, her mother, is a homemaker. Aditya is her elder brother and an engineer for merchant ships. The older brother of Bachchan's Aditya is wrote and co-produced Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. She was a student at Arya Vidya Mandir High School in Mumbai where her family had relocated. Jai Hind College where she was a student for the entire year. and completed her high school education prior to enrolling in D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she was awarded a mark of 90% on her H.S.C. exams. She studied classical music as well as dance for five years throughout her teenage years. She loved the study of zoology. Bachchan was a student studying architecture when she won the title of Miss World in 1994. Her rise to modeling's highest rung by winning the title. In addition, she was offered a lucrative contract from L'Oreal Paris as spokesmodel in 2003. In 1997, she starred in two celebrated parts: Iruvar and Aur pyaar hogaia. Both films defied the basic model that defined Bollywood films at the time propelling Bachchan into the front of her own New Bollywood. Bachchan was crowned the queen of Bollywood with her portrayal of Paro the lover who was betrayed In Devdas, (2002). Devdas was one of Bollywood's most successful films. It also was the first film that was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Following that the film, she was recognized for her role in the film Chokher Bali (2003) the intense drama based off Rabindranathtagore's novel. That same year, she was chosen as the very first Indian actor on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan played the lead role on the screen in Gurinder Chatha's Bride and Prejudice. It was a musical as well as dance adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan could bring her stunning beauty and glam to her debut major English language film. In 2006, she came back to Bollywood with her hit film Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). Abhishek Bachchan got married to her in April of 2007. He is both a Bollywood superstar and a regular co-star.
